Everytime I try, he get's it stuck in his mouth even if I put it tight. He's an indoor cat but he's been getting out alot lately and I worry about him outside without a collar. I can't leave him alone with a collar on beacause when he get's it stuck it's almost like a horse bridle and goes nuts. Should I just give it up?

Safety of collars

Is it safe for a cat to wear a collar? I am afraid that my cat could get one caught on a branch or something and get strangled.

A friend sent me a link to this funny cat cartoon:

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=EUys0W7yawM

I thought it would be worth posting a link to this video as I think
it highlights a common problem. With a couple of cats I've had over the
years, I have found it extremely stressful taking them to the vets as
neither of us particularly wants to go!
Having purchased this product, however, life has become a lot
easier and now Tigger, my tabby, has no problems. I would thoroughly recommend to
any troubled cat owners.

Now, if only someone could make those vet bills cheaper...! LOL.

diabetic15 yearold cat

What is the best treatment for this condition?

safety collar

Does any one know how to remove the safety collar. I use Swheat Scoop litter in the regular litter boxes, and World's Best Cat Litter (Extra Strength) in the automatic litter boxes. When we got Bernie 9 years ago as a tiny baby it was important to me to find a natural, environmentally-friendly cat litter. We tried Feline Pine (the pellets), but Bernie evidently did not like the feel of the pellets on his paws. For a while we used Field Fresh litter which is corn-based, but the local store which sold it closed and we have used Swheat Scoop ever since. When we added the automatic litter boxes Swheat Scoop didn't clump hard enough, so we added World's Best for those boxes. Our kitties don't seem to have a preference between either litter.
