Why are you using training pads instead of going outside?  My mom papertrained a dog so well that she cried to come in the house to pee on her papers.  Have you taped the pads down?  Pups chew everything that moves!

I don't think minis have anything in common with full dobes except color.  I am on my 3rd doberboy.  Each one has had a different personality, but have been stable.  We always met the parents before we get a pup.  There are irresposible breeders of all breeds.  I agree with another dog lover, there are not bad breeds, ...
